Text: Chapter 103: Al-'Asr (The 'Passage' of Time)

103:1

وَالْعَصْرِ

By the ˹passage of˺ time!

103:2

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss,

103:3

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance.
